Vancouver is surrounded by unparalleled scenery.
Island vistas stretch in every direction while
mountain ranges and fjords reach Whistler and

WHALE VIEWING
Seeing
the whales of British Columbia’s west coast is a
must and Vancouver is close to their summer
feeding grounds. Aboard the fast and safe boats
you follow the routes of the Killer Whales as
they cruise the Pacific waters feeding on
migrating salmon. Other marine species and
sightings can include Dall’s porpoises, sea
lions, bald eagles
and seals. Sightings are
guaranteed – if you fail to see whales you can
take return trips until you do (no time limit). The daily 3-5 hour boat trips include
professional naturalists on board and typically
travel through the spectacular Gulf Islands and
Strait of Georgia.
Quick tips from our trips
If you
are travelling with the family this will be a
highlight! What’s more you’ll love the small
village of Steveston with its quant shops and
friendly atmosphere. Sightings are reliable all
summer and take our word the operator really
does honour the guarantee. We think this is the
best whale viewing choice in Vancouver and
recommended.
Getting
there; take the shuttle bus or drive yourself.
Drive time to Steveston 35-45 minutes by car.
Shuttle bus service operates regularly from
downtown Vancouver (several locations close to
hotels) Shuttle must be booked in
advance.
All tours are fully narrated
by professional Naturalists. Complimentary
granola bars and bottled water provided on tour.
